Amitabh Bachchan’s Lookalike Dupes Fans, Causes Traffic Jam

Mumbai: In a recent promo of the Amitabh Bachchan-hosted game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 16’, a contestant shared his encounter with the Shahenshah’s doppelganger and how he was duping the actor’s fans.

The contestant, a car salesman by profession, also shared that the doppelganger, who had convinced fans that he was the real Amitabh Bachchan, had caused a traffic jam outside his showroom.

While recounting the experience, the contestant on the hot seat, said: “This gentleman who looked exactly like you came to our showroom. Coincidentally, I was the one who sold him the car. There was a huge traffic jam outside because people were convinced Mr Bachchan is here. There was a huge crowd. The entire staff of the showroom clicked selfies with him.”

“On meeting him, I felt I am actually meeting you, sir,” continued the contestant as Amitabh appeared dumbfounded.

Amitabh then said light-heartedly, “Hamare naam se na jaane kya kya ho raha hai (What all is happening in my name),” leaving the contestant and the audience laughing.

‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 16’ airs on Sony Entertainment Television on weekdays at 9 pm.

Amitabh was recently seen in the Rajinikanth-starrer Tamil film ‘Vettaiyan.’
