New Delhi: A day after Saroj Khan’s death, Amul took to social media to pay a rich tribute to the late choreographer.
The company’s post on Saturday featured a caricature of the choreographer in a salwar and kurta teaching dance steps to the Amul girl.
“From the A, B, C To the Ek, Do, Teen of dance,” read the tagline on the post, referring to the iconic song ‘Ek Do Teen’ from the film ‘Tezaab’ in which Saroj Khan choreographed Madhuri Dixit.
In the caption, Amul hailed Saroj Khan as the “mother of dance of choreography”, NDTV reported.
Saroj Khan, who was admitted to a Mumbai hospital last month after complaining of breathing problems, died of a cardiac arrest on Friday. She was 71.
