Ananya Das Appointed BMC Addl Commissioner

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has effected a minor reshuffle in Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and Odisha Administrative Services (OAS) cadres.

According to a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department on Wednesday, Project Director (PD) in-charge of District Urban Development Agency (DUDA), Koraput, Ananya Das (IAS) has been appointed as Additional Commissioner of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).

Another IAS officer and PD in-charge of District Rural Development Agency (DRDA), Koraput, Abdaal Akhtar has been appointed as PD in-charge of DUDA, Khurda, He will replace Purna Chandra Mohapatra, an OAS officer.

Mohapatra has been appointed as Joint Secretary to the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.
