Bhadrak: Whoever said the ‘child in you should always remain alive’ certainly did not mean this. Seeing the TikTok craze among adults today, he/she will certainly take their words back. We’ve had teachers and nurses succumbing to the craze and now it is a man in uniform.
A Forest Department official from Dhamnagar in Bhadrak, Prashant Das has shot a number of TikTok videos and surprisingly, most of them are in uniform. There are a number of videos of Das, in which he can be seen dancing and playing cards wearing his uniform.
Surely he doesn’t think it is a very cool thing to do! Does he think it is funny? What about his uniform? Is it that he cares a damn or the urge to shoot a Tik Tok video is so strong that he forgets to take it off?
Someone please tell Mr Das that he is entitled to shoot as many videos as he likes in his private life but when he does it in his uniform it stops being funny.
This is not the first time that a TikTok video involving a government official has raised eyebrows. Earlier this year, the video of a woman school teacher went viral on TikTok. She was seen dancing during school hours.
Banapriya Nayak, a teacher in Badabhuin UP School under Badamba block of Cuttack district was seen dancing in front of her students. When contacted, Nayak had clarified that the video was shot one year back and as she is the sister of the block Samiti chairman, it was an attempt to malign her.
Last year, a TikTok video of a group of nurses dancing inside the emergency Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU) of a hospital in Malkangiri had gone viral.
