Jajpur: Hundreds of Anganwadi workers staged a mass demonstration before the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) office at Dharmasala in Jajpur district on Monday seeking fulfillment of their longstanding demands.
Holding placards and shouting anti-government slogans, the protestors under the banner of All India Ladies Workers’ Union demanded salary hike and social security benefits for them.
“The agitation will be intensified in the coming days, if the government failed to address our grievances at the earliest,” a protestor said.
