Hyderabad: In an extreme case of animal cruelty, about 30 monkeys, suspected to be poisoned to death, were found stuffed in gunny bags in Telangana’s Mahabubabad district.
According to a Forest Department official, the carcasses were found on a hillock near Shanigapuram village, the Hindustan Times reported.
Post-mortem could not be conducted as the monkeys were found in a highly decomposed state, the official informed. Investigation is underway.
