Puri: The financial sub-committee of Jagannath Temple here on Tuesday came up with a draft annual budget to the tune of Rs 202 crore for the management of the 12th-century shrine for 2021-22.
Talking to the mediapersons after the meeting, chief administrator of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Krishan Kumar said Rs 11 crore has been earmarked for the ensuing Rath Yatra, Rs 50 lakh for the healthcare of the sevayats and Rs 5 crore for the sevayats and their family.
Apart from this, a special budget allocation has been made for the setting of Gurukul school for the children of the sevayats, he added.
