Annual Flower Show In Odisha Capital From Jan 9; Check New Features & Timing

Bhubaneswar: The three-day Annual Flower Show 2026 will be held at Ekamra Kanan in Bhubaneswar from January 9, the Regional Plant Resource Centre (RPRC) has announced.

The exhibition will remain open to visitors from 8.30 am to 8.30 pm each day till January 11. Entry to the flower show will be free, and special arrangements have been made for free vehicle parking to ensure smooth access for visitors.

The event will bring together a wide range of flowers and ornamental plants under one roof. More than 65 stalls—including plant stalls, open nursery units, food stalls and various

display sections—will be set up to cater to gardening enthusiasts and the general public, RPRC officials said.

The organisers are expecting a higher footfall this year, building on the success of the previous edition. Last year’s flower show received an overwhelming response from visitors and plant lovers, which has encouraged the organisers to introduce more attractions and improved arrangements this year, said an official.

Major highlights of the 2026 show will include a large floral structure and over eight specially designed selfie points for visitors.

According to the Plant Lovers Association (PLA), participants from various parts of the state are likely to take part in the show. He noted that, like previous years, the event will also feature cultural programmes such as music and dance performances, adding a festive atmosphere to the exhibition.

Being organised by RPRC and PLA since 2006, the Annual Flower Show has become a popular calendar event in Odisha capital.
