Cuttack: To ensure smooth conduct of the Annual High School Certificate (HSC) beginning from February 22, a week-long orientation programme for the centre superintendents, nodal officers and centre supervisors began on Wednesday.
The officials, during the orientation programme, will be apprised of the 17-point model guidelines on the conduct of the examinations.
The orientation programme, which began at the CSB Zilla School in Sambalpur zone on Tuesday, will be held at Balasore Zilla School in Balasore Zone on February 7, Secondary Board High School in the Central zone in Cuttack on February 8, Capital High School in Bhubaneswar zone on February 11, V.V. Giri Government ST Girls’ High School for Berhampur and Jeypore zones on February 12.
The officials undergoing training in these zones can conduct training camps in different districts.
The BSE has uploaded detailed information about the high schools and the examination centres on its official portalwww.bseodisha.ac.in and asked the school authorities to access the portal by giving the school user code and the password and download the details regarding the number of students going to appear for the annual examinations, the mode of conduct of the examinations and whether their school has been made the examination centre or a nodal centre.
The annual HSC examinations will be held from February 22 to March 8.
