Bhawanipatna/Balangir/Bhubaneswar: Panic gripped students appearing for the annual Matric examination in Odisha on Wednesday following reports that the question paper of Odia (first language) had gone viral.
According to sources, several people of Dharmagarh area in Kalahandi district and Kantabanjhi in Balangir district found the Odia question paper being circulated on social media.
The question paper was reportedly uploaded on social media one and half hourr after the examination began at 10 am this morning.
Talking to mediapersons in Bhubaneswar, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Das said that he is yet to receive any report about it.
“I have just come out of the State Assembly and got the news about the incident from you. I will crosscheck whether some mischievous elements have uploaded question paper of the previous year to create panic among the students. If it is this year’s Odia question paper, stern action will be taken against the guilty,” the minister said.
