Bhubaneswar: ‘Mruttika-2024’,the annual expo of terracotta which was scheduled to be held from October 22-29 at Idco exhibition ground at Unit-III in Odisha capital, has been postponed in the view of the impending Cyclone Dana.
According to I&PR Department release, Mruttika-2024 will instead be organised from October 25 to 30.
The possible Cyclone is likely make landfall along Odisha-West Bengal coasts between Puri and Sagar Island by October 24-25 as a severe cyclonic storm with a wind speed of 100-110 kmph gusting 120 kmph. Red and orange warnings of very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall has been sound for several coastal districts of Odisha, including Khurda.
