Bhubaneswar: Four more persons who returned to Odisha from the United Kingdom have tested COVID-19 positive amid concern about the spread of the new strain of coronavirus that is currently infecting the European countries.
Three persons have been identified from Jagatsinghpur district and one from Bhubaneswar whose four-year-old daughter had earlier tested COVID-19 positive. All four tested positive for COVID-19 during RT-PCR test.
The number of UK returnees to the state to have tested positive for the virus surged to 6 while the state capital has 3 cases. The virus strain is being ascertained currently.
However, a total of 181 people have returned to Odisha from the UK last month, and among them, 88 returned to the capital city.
