Bhubaneswar: Four more persons who returned to Odisha from the United Kingdom have tested COVID-19 positive amid concern about the spread of the new strain of coronavirus that is currently infecting the European countries.
Three persons have been identified from J
agatsinghpur district and one from Bhubaneswar whose four-year-old daughter had earlier tested COVID-19 positive. All four tested positive for COVID-19 during RT-PCR test.
The number of UK returnees to the state to have tested positive for the virus surged to 6 while the state capital has 3 cases. The virus strain is being ascertained currently.
However, a total of 181 people have returned to Odisha from the UK last month, and among them, 88 returned to the capital city.
