Bhubaneswar: Mancheswar police in Bhubaneswar on Friday arrested another 57 people, including 54 women, for their alleged involvement in a clash that broke out on October 26 between two groups at Padmakesharipur village in Patia.
“They were nabbed during a raid in the locality and will be forwarded to court after medical examination,” said a police officer.
Earlier, 77 residents of Padmakesharipur Talasahi and Padmakesharipur Majhisahi were arrested in connection with the clash during which the groups threw stones and bottles at one another, leaving 20 injured.
