Bhubaneswar: With another 69 patients from 15 districts succumbing to COVID-19, the toll in Odisha surged to 5703 on Wednesday.
The Health and Family Welfare Department has said that this list gives details of past deaths for which the audit process has been duly completed and the cause of death has been identified as COVID-19.
Among the deceased, Khurda district has reported 14 fatalities (including 10 from Bhubaneswar) followed by 11 from Sundargarh, 9 from Angul, 8 from Dhenkanal, 5 from Jharsuguda, 4 each from Bargarh, Puri and Sambalpur, 3 from Kandhamal, 2 from Balangir and one each from Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh and Nuapada districts.
