Ganjam: A dreaded criminal, Guju Nayak, was injured in an encounter with police at Charimail under Aska police limits in Ganjam district in the early hours of Tuesday.
According to reports, police tried to intercept the motorcycle Nayak was riding. Startled, the criminal opened fire on the cops, who retaliated. He sustained bullet injury in his right leg.
