Nayagarh: A doctor and a nurse of surgery ward of Nayagarh district headquarters hospital have tested positive for COVID-19.
Confirming the news, Nayagarh Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) Sudhanshu Sarangi said that the duo has been shifted to SUM COVID hospital in Bhubaneswar.
“Both the doctor and the nurse were asymptomatic. Other doctors and nurses who had come in contact with them in the hospital have been placed under quarantine. Besides, the surgery ward of the hospital has been sealed and is being sanitised,” he added.
