Berhampur: The superintendent in-charge of Bhatakumarada community health centre (CHC) in Ganjam district reportedly died of COVID-19 at 3 am on Sunday.
He was admitted to the KIMS COVID Hospital on August 5 after testing positive for the virus, former state president OMSA Dr N K Bhatt informed.
The doctor was also suffering from liver cirrhosis, sources said.
He had done his MBBS from VIMSAR, Burla.
