Cuttack: A student of another Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Odisha died reportedly by committing suicide in Cuttack city on Monday.
As per reports, the student, Sandip Kumar Muduli, was pursuing studies in government ITI in the city. He was staying in a rented house at New Goudasahi of Nayachowk under Madhupatna police limits.
The locals found Sandip hanging from ceiling fan in his room and informed the police. A team from Madhupatna police station went to the spot with a forensic team and sent the body for post-mortem.
The police have registered a case of unnatural death and started investigation. But why Sandip took the extreme step has not been ascertained, the sources said.
It may be noted that a student of a private ITI died after falling from the roof of a hostel in Rourkela of Sundargarh district on Sunday. The police are yet to confirm whether it was suicide or murder.
