Puri: Ace Odisha cyclist Swasti Singh, who won her 50th career medal (a silver) in September, added one more laurel to her chequered cap.
This time, Swasti clinched the gold medal in the 40km Road Criterium race in Women’s Elite category of the National Road Cycling championship.
The Odisha team secured the overall runner-up trophy in the same category.
It was all the more special for Swasti and others as the championship was held on home turf – in Puri from December 7 to 10.
Swasti, whose growing kitty includes 6 international medals, wants to target 200 medals in her career.
No one will bet against the 23-year-old cyclist fulfilling her dreams.
