Srinagar: Terrorists shot dead a migrant worker and wounded another person here on Wednesday.
Amritpal Singh, the victim, hailed from Punjab’s Amritsar. He was reportedly a hawker.
“Terrorists fired upon a non-local identified as Amritpal Singh, resident of Amritsar, at Shaheed Gunj, Srinagar.. He succumbed to the injuries. One more person is grievously injured and evacuated for medical attention. Area has been cordoned off. Further details shall follow,” Kashmir Zone Police posted on social media platform X.
Police are yet to ascertain details of the injured person.
