Jajpur: Joining the bandwagon of peers such as Sabyasachi and Shritam Das, actor Akash Das Nayak has taken up the mantle of providing food to the needy during COVDI lockdown restrictions in his native district Jajpur.
Akash has also been distributing food and masks to the people in the twin cities of Cuttack & Bhubaneswar and Balasore. A number of voluntary organisations have provided Akash full support in his noble work.
Akash has been going door-to-door in different slums and leprosy centres in Jajpur to distribute food. He has also undertaken an awareness drive among the people by informing them about the deadly coronavirus and the measures to be taken to keep it at bay.
