Bhuabaneswar: In a fresh incident of disappearance of students, a 16-year-old school boy has gone missing from Odisha capital.
As per preliminary information, the boy was believed to have deliberately run away because of altercation in the family about his attending school.
According to sources, he was admonished by his teachers and parents on Thursday over his attitude towards attending classes in the school.
After having failed to trace him, the family members have lodged a complaint in Maitri Vihar police station in Bhubaneswar and the police have launched an investigation into the matter.
The incident comes close on the heels of the disappearance of two students of a Bhubaneswar-based school recently. The two boys were later found at Titlagarh in Balangir district. The boys claimed that they had been kidnapped a group of miscreants but somehow they managed escape from their clutches.
