Cuttack: Another rest shed for patients and attendants visiting Acharya Harihar Post Graduate Institute of Cancer (AHPGIC), here has been completed and opened for public on Tuesday.
The rest sheds or shelters are being constructed on war footing on the direction of Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra.
The Acharya Harirar Cancer Institute’s Director Dr Lalatendu Sadangi said patients will be allowed to take rest in it. With this all patients waiting on verandah or nearby would be accommodated.
He said the third shed in premises of AHPGIC would be completed in this week.
It may be mentioned that the first shelter was opened on Monday.
