Puri: Another video captured on the premises of Jagannath Temple in Odisha’s Puri town has posed serious questions on the security arrangements at the 12th-century shrine.
One Gaurav Kumar Sahu reportedly shot the video showing Kirtan Chapada inside the temple and posted it on his social media handle. The video came to light after it went viral.
The video has raised concern among the devotees as shooting inside the temple violates prohibitory orders of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA).
On January 5, a drone was spotted flying over the temple by the locals. The drone reportedly stooped over Meghanda Pacheri (compound wall) and made a video-shooting. It also shot Dadhinauti and Nilachakra. Though the locals informed the police, there has been no response about the drone till date.
Similarly, videos shot inside the temple in 2022 and 2017 had gone viral raising concerns over the security system of the temple.
