Bhubaneswar: Owner of a real estate company has been arrested for allegedly raping a married woman on the pretext of a job offer.
The accused has been identified as Debashish Samantaray (37). He is resident of Kedar Gouri Vihar here.
According to sources, Samantaray i
nvited the woman to his office at Kedar Gouri Vihar for a job interview. When she went to meet him in the office, the accused allegedly raped her.
The woman lodged a police complaint on September 15.
Acting on the complaint, a team from Badagada police station apprehended Samantray on Tuesday. He was later forwarded to court.
