Bhubaneswar: Owner of a real estate company has been arrested for allegedly raping a married woman on the pretext of a job offer.
The accused has been identified as Debashish Samantaray (37). He is resident of Kedar Gouri Vihar here.
According to sources, Samantaray invited the woman to his office at Kedar Gouri Vihar for a job interview. When she went to meet him in the office, the accused allegedly raped her.
The woman lodged a police complaint on September 15.
Acting on the complaint, a team from Badagada police station apprehended Samantray on Tuesday. He was later forwarded to court.
