Koraput: Anti-Maoist posters surfaced in various parts in Koraput district on Thursday.
The posters, signed by Hinsa Mukta, Naxal Mukta Abhijan convenor Bharat Bhusan, were found pasted at tehsil office, walls of schools and several roads in Narayanpatna and nearby places.
Through posters, the organisation has condemned the violent activities and stated that the Maoists have been an obstacle to works of development in the tribal-dominated districts.
The posters also warned the Maoists against killing innocent tribals by falsely branding them as informers of police and punishing them in so-called ‘Praja Courts’.
The ultras have been terrorising people by unleashing violence. They should either join the social mainstream by shunning violence or immediately leave Narayanpatna and Bandhugaon areas of the district, a poster read.
Meanwhile, people of the area have welcomed the move against ultras.
