Bhubaneswar: In a rare treat for the hockey fans in the state and country, a biopic on hockey legend Dilip Tirkey is on the cards soon. Actor and MP Anubhav Mohanty will play the character on screen.
As per available details, the movie will be released prior to the Hockey World Cup slated to be held in Kalinga Stadium later this year.
Tirkey, who is a serving a Rajya Sabha MP, is a former hockey skipper and one of the world’s best defender.
While the script is already on board, the filming will began soon.
