Anupam Kher on Saturday announced his 519th film!
That is a staggering number indeed. What was just as significant was the location from where Kher informed the news to his fans and followers.
He actually made the post while flying over the Atlantic Ocean, headed for New York.
One of Bollywood’s most versatile actors took to Instagram to announce the news along with a video in which he captured the path of the New York-bound aeroplane on the screen of his seat. The map showed the aircraft flying over the Atlantic.
“Delighted to announce my 519th film while flying above the #AtlantcOcean at 36000 feet,” Kher captioned the post.
The National Award-winning actor further expressed gratitude for his fans and followers for reaching this stage and said he felt “special.”
The 66-year-old star, whose acting skills caught everyone’s eye in his maiden film ‘Saaransh’, concluded the post by stating that he will reveal details of the film soon, adding the hashtags #KuchBhiHoSaktaHai, #519thFilm, #MagicOfCinema, #Joy, #Blessed.
A twice National Film Awards winner and eight-time recipient of Filmfare Awards, Kher was recently adjudged Best Actor at New York City International Film Festival for his short film ‘Happy Birthday’.
Among Kher’s upcoming projects are The Last Show, Mungilal Rocks and The Kashmir Files.
