Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Choked’ Is Streaming On Netflix Now!

Mumbai: Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s new film ‘Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai’ has started streaming on Netflix from Friday.

Written by Nimit Bhave, the film features Saiyami Kher and Roshan Mathew in lead roles.

The film revolves around demonetization and has been lauded for its unique concept.

In an interview with India Today TV, Anurag revealed that his girlfriend Shubhra Shetty provided him the script of ‘Choked’ and encouraged him to film it.

Anurag has acknowledged and thanked his girlfriend, as ‘Choked’ starts with the dedication: ‘For Shubhra Shetty’,

“She was the one who brought the script to me. She didn’t see a lot of my films because she says that she gets disturbed by them. And she said if you made this movie, I will watch it. So, I made this film. It was like a thank you. She has watched it now and she is very happy with it,” he said.

Shubhra is Anurag’s associate at his production company, Phantom Films.

The two started dating in 2015. In 2017, Anurag shared an adorable picture with Shubhra on social media and made their relationship official.
