Bhubaneswar: Her childhood dream of wearing a beautiful evening gown and a tiara at a national level beauty pageant has finally come true. And in a proud moment for Odisha, Anwesha Aditi Mohapatra of Sambalpur has been crowned second runner-up at the Miss India Planet 2022.
A graduate in Information Science and Telecommunications from Gangadhar Meher College, Sambalpur, she entered the world of pageants and modelling at the age of 16 and had since won Miss Odisha by Odisha’s Beauty Association, Odisha’s Next Top Model, Miss Sukanya Sambalpur, and Miss VASSAUNT by VSSUT, Burla. She was the finalist at the Odisha Queen contest.
Speaking to the media, Anwesha said that she time management has been the key as she has to balance both studies as well as her passion for modelling which involves a lot of self-grooming. She has also been working on her runaway walk and the efforts have finally borne fruits.
The 20-year-old now wants to present India on the world stage.
Anwesha is also a trained Hindustani classical singer, Youtuber, and social media influencer.
