Bhubaneswar: The members of All Odisha Bank Employees’ Federation (AOBEF) staged a demonstration in front of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) here against statements made by RBI governor Dr Urjit Patel and deputy governor Viral Acharya regarding public sector banks (PSBs) for privatization and reduction of employees.
“The demonstration organised with participation around 150 bank employees was successful. Slogans were raised to strongly condemn the anti-PSB statement of the governor and deputy governor with a demand to withdraw the derogative statement,” AOBEF general secretary Prakash Ray said.
