New Delhi: Aparajita Sarangi, the BJP MP representing the Bhubaneswar parliamentary constituency in Odisha, on Friday met Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari and demanded construction of a flyover at Hanspal, an accident-prone area.
In a tweet, Aparajitai said the Minister has assured her of “positive action soon”. She also shared a photo of the meeting.
The BJP MP said her demand for the flyover was in response to her recent visit to the spot along with members of Uttar Bhubaneswar Unnayan Parishad.
The Hanspal stretch along the national highways between Bhubaneswar and Cuttack has been witness to frequent road accidents. Recently, Cuttack-Choudwar MLA Souvik Biswal was injured in a car accident near Hanspal. The car was badly damaged in the crash.
