The app, which can be downloaded from Google playstore, is operational in Angul, Banarpal, Talcher, Kaniha, Chendipada blocks of Angul district. It aims at preventing the man-elephant conflict by disseminating information of animal movement to the people by means of SMS and voice call through central control room of Angul forest division.

On pilot basis, phone numbers of people from villages of Angul Forest Division severely affected by the conflict are available on the app. People can call the toll-free number 18003155555 of the control room to get their number added for information or they can download the app and register directly for providing information.

Any kind of grievance can be sent directly to DFO through message, document, voice message on the app. This prevents the people from travelling long distance to lodge their grievances with the authorities.

The app has also the facility to provide plant saplings to the people. After the sender mentions his requirements on the app, he will be intimated about the nearest nursery to get the saplings.
