Apple on Tuesday officially launched three new iPhones – 11 and 11 Pro in two sizes at its annual event in California. The new iPhone has a 6.1-inch Retina Display, a brand new Apple A13 Bionic chipset and a dual-camera. The iPhone Pro comes with an iPhone-first triple rear camera.
The starting prices of the new iPhone 11 are:
iPhone 11 – Rs 64,990
iPhone 11 Pro – Rs 99,990
iPhone 11 Pro Max – Rs 1,09,900
Deliveries will begin from September 20.
Camera
The new iPhones have a 12-megapixel selfie camera that can take slow-motion selfie videos that Apple calls “slofies”. The Pro gets triple rear camera while the cheaper 11 gets dual camera. Both have a 12-MP primary sensor and an ultra-wide sensor with 120-degree field of view. The Pro has an additional 12-MP telephoto sensor with a total of 4x optical zoom. The cameras have a new Smart HDR mode, and an improved AI night mode with adaptive metering.
Battery
Apple claims the new iPhone 11 will have an hour more battery life than the iPhone XR while the Pro and Pro Max will gain 4 and 5 hours respectively over their predecessors. The charger is a fast 18W one for the first time.
Screen
The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max have 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch Liquid Retina displays. The iPhone 11 has a 6.1 inch display.
The new iPhones are IP68 water and dust resistance. All have spatial audio distribution and Dolby Atmos. It will come in six colours.
