Keonjhar: ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AM/NS) India on Monday rolled out a 24×7 Advanced Life Support (ALS) Ambulance service at Barbil in Odisha’s Keonjhar.
According to a release, the new Advanced Life Support ambulance is equipped with all the modern life-saving equipment like defibrillators, ventilators, suction machines, nebulizers, automatic BP apparatus, head immobiliser, cervical collar, oxygen cylinder, etc. to attend to medical emergencies of critical patients.
The communities residing near Thakurani mines will benefit from this ambulance service.
The service was inaugurated by Group Head CSR at AM/NS India Vikas Yadvendu in the presence of Thakurani Mines manager Pramod Mishra, and other senior executives of AM/NS India.
“We are committed to providing the best healthcare facility to the community residing near the mines. By dedicating the ALS Ambulance service, we have achieved another milestone in healthcare service under Project Arogya. With this, critical patients will be able to avail immediate medical assistance free of cost and precious human lives will also be saved,” said Yadvendu.
