Mumbai: Actor Sonam Kapoor is reportedly expecting her second child with her husband, businessman Anand Ahuja.
If a report by Pinkvilla is to be believed, Anil Kapoor’s daughter is in the second trimester of her pregnancy and an official announcement from the couple is expected soon. “Sonam is in the second trimester of her pregnancy, and the news has brought immense joy to both families,” a source cited by the entertainment portal claimed.
The couple, who tied their knot in May 2018 after years of courtship, welcomed their first child, Vayu, in August 2022. Sonam had then shared her first pregnancy journey with a series of stylish photoshoots, and fans are eagerly awaiting her next maternity fashion statements.
In August this year, the actor had penned a heartfelt birthday note as Vayu turned three. “Happy Birthday my baby boy. May you always be this curious, kind, thoughtful and sweet. I hope you are always surrounded by so much love, music and happiness. Mama loves you to the moon and back and again,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonam will next be seen in ‘Battle of Bittora’, an adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s 2010 novel 2010 of the same name. She was last seen in Blind.
