Hyderabad: Trisha Krishnan has once again sparked speculation about her relationship with actor-turned-politician Vijay after she was spotted alongside his parents at an Independence Day celebration.
Her appearance has caught the attention of fans, with many wondering whether the two have decided to make their relationship official.
On Saturday, Trisha attended the Independence Day celebrations at Fort St George in Chennai, where Vijay unfurled the national flag.
Pictures and videos from the ceremony have surfaced online, showing Trisha seated in the front row alongside Vijay’s parents, S A Chandrasekhar and Shobha Chandrasekhar. The actress was also seen chatting and interacting with them during the event.
For the occasion, Trisha opted for a yellow saree paired with a green blouse and completed her traditional look with a gajra.
She was seen smiling and interacting with those present during the celebrations.

Over the years, Trisha has often been linked to Vijay, with the two being one of Tamil cinema’s most popular on-screen pairs.
Their chemistry in films such as Ghilli (2004), Thirupaachi (2005), Aathi (2006) and Kuruvi (2008) has been widely appreciated by fans.
After Kuruvi, however, the duo stopped working together, leading to speculation about their relationship.
Rumours also claimed that Vijay’s family had asked him to maintain a distance from Trisha.
Both actors, however, have denied the dating rumours and maintained that they are “just friends.”
Earlier this year, Vijay’s wife, Sangeetha Sornalingam, approached a family court in Tamil Nadu for divorce after more than 25 years of marriage. The petition reportedly included allegations of infidelity.
Sangeetha filed the divorce petition in February but withdrew it earlier this month. Following the withdrawal, the Chengalpattu court closed the case.
