Kendrapara: Taking note of the reluctance of the students to visit the Bhitarkanika National Park in Odisha’s Kendrapara district due to excess entry fee and boat fare, the state Forest Department has decided to allow them to the park at free of cost during the national holidays.
According to the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Raj Nagar Wildlife Division, Bimal Prasanna Acharya, the students of all educational institutions will have free entry to the park during the three national holidays like Gandhi Jayanti, Independence Day and Republic Day. Apart from this, they will also avail free boating to the park, he added.
