Mumbai: Arjun Tendulkar, son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, tied the knot with businesswoman Saaniya Chandhok in a grand ceremony here on Thursday.

The wedding was held at the luxurious The St. Regis Mumbai under the theme “SaaJ.”

Saaniya chose a traditional red saree instead of a lehenga for her bridal look, reflecting classic North Indian and Gujarati wedding traditions.

The event featured special musical moments, with singer Harshdeep Kaur performing during the bride’s entry and Shankar Mahadevan presenting the ceremonial Mangalashtak.

The wedding was attended by several prominent personalities from the world of cricket, business, politics, and Bollywood.

Among the guests were Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Other celebrity guests included former Team captain MS Dhoni and wife Sakshi Dhoni, business tycoon Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, actor Farhan Akhtar, actor couple Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi.

After the ceremony, the newly-married couple stepped out to greet the paparazzi and posed together for their first pictures as husband and wife.

Arjun, a first-class cricketer who currently plays form Goa, and Saaniya have known each other for years, and their families share a close bond.

The couple reportedly got closer after Arjun’s sister Sara introduced them more formally, as she and Saaniya were good friends and often met during social outings and Pilates sessions.

The couple got engaged in an intimate ceremony on August 13, 2025, at the Ghai residence in Mumbai in the presence of their family and friends.
