Angul: Armed miscreants looted a huge amount of cash and a computer system from a grocery shop in Odisha’s Angul district around 8 pm on Monday night.
According to sources, the shop owner Amar and his father were sitting at their shop ‘Maa Santoshi Bhandar’ when six bike-borne miscreants reached the spot and looted Rs 60,000, a computer after attacking them with two Mauser guns, and four swords.
Amar’s father sustained critical injuries on his back and leg. Following this, they immediately rushed to Sadar police station and filed a complaint.
Police soon reached the spot and initiated an investigation on the basis of the CCTV footage. The miscreants are yet to be identified.
