Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police on Friday arrested an arms dealer on the outskirts of the city.
Following reliable information, the Quick Action Team (QAT) of Commissionerate Police conducted a raid on a place in Balianta area and nabbed the arms dealer. The man was arrested while brokering a deal to sell a pistol.
The QAT seized a 9mm pistol, 9 live bullets and a bike from the possession of the arrested person.
However, the police have not revealed the identity of the arrested person. Further investigation is on.
