Arrest Of Son Aryan: Shah Rukh Set To Cancel Pathan Shoot With Deepika In Spain

Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan is set to cancel his trip to Spain where he was scheduled to shoot with Deepika Padukone for their upcoming film ‘Pathan’.

The Bollywood Badshah was due to leave for Spain later this week for the shooting of a special song with Deepika in the exotic island of Mallorca, India Today reported.

But the arrest of his son Aryan in a drug-related case on Sunday will compel Shah Rukh to cancel the upcoming schedule.

On Saturday, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) detained Aryan and seven others after raids on an alleged rave party on a cruise ship off Mumbai. All eight were arrested on Sunday after being questioned.

“It is very unlikely that Shah Rukh will come out and give a statement. There are a lot of legal options which he will explore,” a source close to Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri Khan was quoted as saying.

The shooting of Pathan, directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films, had begun. The superstar duo, who have given Bollywood mega hits like Om Shanti Om and Chennai Express, were scheduled to travel to one of the most exotic locations in Europe to shoot a special song sequence.
