Puri: With thousands of thousands of tourists thronging Odisha’s Puri town on Saturday to usher in New Year, well-known sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo created a sand sculpture on the beach on the occasion.
Manas has made the colourful sculpture with the message “Wish you a Happy New Year 2023” written on it on the Light House beach in the Pilgrim Town.
The sand sculpture measures 15 ft in width and 6 ft in height. Manas used 10 tons of sand and took 10 hours to create the sculpture.
Speaking to the media on his message to the people, Manas requested all to follow the COVID and stay healthy. He wished everyone happiness and prosperity.
