Bhubaneswar: The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of state Crime Branch on Monday arrested director of Arundhati Infra in a land fraud case.
The accused, identified as Nirupama Sundaray, allegedly duped investors to the tune of Rs 3 crore on the promise of providing plots and flats at different places of Bhubaneswar.
In a separate incident, Nuapada police arrested blacklisted super class contractor Bunty Agarwal from Haryana and brought him to the state on transit remand.
Bunty’s father and wife were also arrested in connection with tender fraud, reports said.
