Mumbai: A relieved Shah Rukh Khan posed with the team of lawyers who had been fighting for Aryan Khan’s bail in the rave party cruise drugs case.
Three weeks after being arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and 19 days after being sent to Arthur Road prison, the Bollywood superstar’s son was granted bail by Bombay High Court on Thursday.
In the picture, posted by Live Law on its Twitter account, Shah Rukh can be seen along with Amit Desai, advocate Satish Maneshinde and the entire legal team. Former Attorney General and senior advocate Mukul Rohatgi, who was roped in by Shah Rukh after they moved the Bombay High Court, is not seen.
This is the first photograph of Shah Rukh after Aryan got bail.
The Bollywood Badshah has kept a low profile since his son was arrested on October 3, not issuing any statement while the hearing was going on.
The only time he was visible was during his visit to Arthur Road prison on October 14.
Maneshinde, who also represented actress Rhea Chakraborty in the drugs case related to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death last year, appeared for Aryan in the beginning. Thereafter, senior advocate Amit Desai represented Aryan in court, before Rohatgi came into the picture.
“Aryan Khan has ultimately been released on bail by Bombay HC. No possession, no evidence, no consumption, no conspiracy, right from the first moment when he was detained on Oct 2! Satyameva Jayate!” the legal team said.
