Mumbai: Continuing the tirade against Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) zonal director Sameer Wankhede, NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik accused him of creating terror with a private army and framing innocent people in drugs cases.
“The NCB has framed Aryan Khan and others in a bogus case registered after the cruise drugs bust. The seizure was not done on the cruise ship, but the photographs released were taken in Wankhede’s office. Aryan was in jail for a prolonged period due to the different stand taken by the NCB,” he told the media on Saturday.
Malik alleged that Wankhede has drafted a private army to conduct raids on innocent persons and witnesses, Kiran Gosavi, Manish Bhanushali, Prabhakar Sahil, Shekhar Kamble and Fletcher Patel, are used to plant drugs at the residences of targets set by NCB officials. “We will submit concrete evidence against Wankhede to the NCB director-general.”
