Bhubaneswar: The state-level conference of Odisha Asha Karmee Association affiliated to Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) will be held in the state capital on July 30, association
president Radha Raman Sarangi informed here on Friday.
“More than 200 Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA) from different districts of the state will participate in the conference that would highlight the ASHA workers’ demands for more facilities including provident fund, pension and monthly salary. The ASHAs need proper attention of the state government as they have been performing selflessly for improving health of mother and child under various health schemes,” Sarangi said.
The meeting will be addressed by several leaders of CITU, including Ranjana Nirula, he added.
