Mumbai: Veteran actor Ashish Vidyarthi has found love again at 60.
The National Award-winning actor tied the knot with Assam’s Rupali Barua on Thursday.
Rupali, who hails from Guwahati, is associated with an upscale fashion store in Kolkata.
Vidyarthi was previously married to Rajoshi Barua, daughter of actress Shakuntala Barua.
Vidyarthi, an accomplished artist who has featured in around 300 films in Hindi and regional languages like Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali, had a quiet registry marriage with Rupali in the presence of family and close friends.
The bride was dressed in a white mekhela and gold temple jewellery, while Vidyarthi twinned in a white and gold Mundu from Kerala.
“At this stage of my life, getting married to Rupali is an extraordinary feeling. We had a court marriage in the morning, followed by a get-together in the evening,” Vidyarthi was quoted as saying by The Times of India.
According to Rupali, she met Vidyarthi some time ago and decided to take the relationship forward.
“But both of us wanted our wedding to be a small family affair,” she revealed.
Vidyarthi, known for his villainous roles in Bollywood, started his acting career in 1986.
