Mumbai: After videos of her flooded Mumbai apartment went viral, television actress Ashnoor Kaur clarified that it was caused by a burst pipe, and not the city’s heavy rains.
She further assured fans that there was no damage to the house and the situation was quickly brought under control.
Ashnoor took to her Instagram Stories to share a video showing her home flooded with water.
The clip captured water spread across the floor, while several workers were seen cleaning up and mopping the area.
She captioned the video as, “Need to leave for an event & this is what has happened at home. May all the ‘nazar’ on me turn into happiness, success & growth.”
As Mumbai has
been experiencing heavy rainfall over the past few days, many fans assumed that rainwater had caused the flooding at Ashnoor’s home.
A few hours later, Ashnoor clarified. “Firstly, thanks to everyone who has been checking in on me post my flooding story (laughing emoticon). My DM is full of love and concern.”
She added, “It was due to a pipe burst (and not rainwater lol). However the situation was immediately brought under control within minutes, and no damage was done, thanks to our prompt and professional housekeeping team of the society.”
She also shared that her pet dog seemed to enjoy the unexpected chaos, quietly sitting in a corner and watching all the activity as everyone worked to clean up the flooded house.
In January, Ashnoor gave fans a glimpse of her home when Farah Khan visited for one of her vlogs.
The actress showcased her stylish 3.5 BHK apartment, complete with smart lighting, a modern modular kitchen, and a walk-in vanity featuring her designer collection.
One of the standout features of the home is its long, spacious balcony, which offers scenic views and serves as one of Ashnoor’s favourite spots in the house.
