Asim Munir Trolled Over ‘Photoshopped’ Painting To Celebrate Op Bunyan

Bhubaneswar: In another setback for Islamabad’s false narrative of military success against India, social media users globally ridiculed Pakistan Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir for gifting Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif a framed painting at a high-profile dinner.

The painting, claimed to depict a Pakistani military operation, closely resembled a four-year-old image from a Chinese military exercise.

Social media platform X users quickly noted the similarity, alleging the image was taken from publicly available Chinese People’s Liberation Army drill visuals, casting doubt on the authenticity of Pakistan’s Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos narrative.

According to reports, Munit had hosted the dinner to honour Pakistan’s political leadership, armed forces, and ‘the resilient spirit of the nation’ during the operation against India.
